PREREG before code and run: split at the point from the analogous pair's order m (t = |FA|^(1/m) / (|FA|^(1/m) + |FB|^(1/m))) instead of the midpoint, in the flat regime entered by analogy (flatanalogpt, flatanalogmempt). Exit generalised to any regime point: f(x) nearer to FA(1-t) + FB t than to 0. Paired against the midpoint twins with the same entry; P1-P4, goal reported; the one-sided stall risk written down beforehand.
