PREREG before code and run: sticky flat regime. Entry = the unkept promise (r >= 1/4); from then on every step splits the bracket. Order m from the promise itself, r = (1-1/m)^m (r >= 1/e -> m = inf); split point t = |FA|^(1/m) / (|FA|^(1/m) + |FB|^(1/m)), which tends to the midpoint at m = inf. Ablation flatstickmid (sticky midpoint). Stop rule W1-W3; W6 for the derived ratio. Ceiling from sweep_full: flat problems bisected -> CHA 2441; split 1:k near side k=2.5 -> 2146, non-monotone in k, so k is derived, not chosen.
